Q: How did you get into computer recycling?
A: I worked at a computer recycling facility in Youngstown, Ohio, for five years. (That facility) was one of the first to get into computer recycling. I made a lot of contacts there and got into the business (of computer recycling). I’ve always wanted to start my own business and was familiar with the industry, so I pursued it and moved back to Fort Wayne.
Through Matt, S.C.A.R. has the resources and contacts to easily find those who can reuse the computer and IT equipment; and that is the goal that S.C.A.R. will accomplish. After that option is exhausted, S.C.A.R. can provide recycling options rather than disposal. |
